Testimonial for Technique Selection

As a manager of over 35 home based field service engineers, recruitment of the right engineer in the right location can be very difficult and time consuming.

I have to say in the past I have not been a fan of using recruitment agencies. We want our engineer to grow with our company, we invest in training and support for them and in return we hope they will stay with us for the long term.

I have worked with Leyla for over five years and in that time she has successfully filled a number of vacancies for us. As with most companies we have a set criteria and standard an engineer must meet. It is better to leave a position unfilled, than put the wrong person in it.

Technique have taken the time to understand our business and know exactly what we are looking for in an engineer. I can honestly say they have never put an applicant in front of me for interview who did not match our requirements. On several occasions it has been difficult to decide between applicants. What a great position to be in, rather than having to take the best of a bad lot or start all over again.

Those we have taken on though Technique have all become valued members of the team. I would have no issue in recommending Technique Selection for recruiting engineers.

There are recruitment companies and there are recruitment companies, we have over the years (as with most companies) been bombarded with phone calls offering “excellent” service, they call every hour on the hour to tell you’re they are on your case and they will have suitable candidates on their books (just trying to “Google” them) and you end up with CV’s for hairdressers when you require a qualified mechanic!

Then we have Leyla, from the first dealings back over 5 years ago, from the start she listened, took interest in our business (not just a number) and since has delivered quality candidates every time, (well- very odd hick up but replaced without question) even when you feel a candidate doesn’t look right on paper if she feels he/she is right she users her powers of persuasion, to convince you otherwise, to date I have not been able to prove her wrong!

Technique Selection make my job easier, I have trust in their judgment, which in my opinion, is unique for a recruitment business.

I am a technical supervisor at Waterlogic, which is part of the PHS group. During my time at my company I have had to recruit on many occasions.

I starting using Leyla back in 2003 for my company’s recruitment needs. In the last 9 years Leyla has always managed to supply me with candidates that are suitable for the roles I have been looking for.

The main reason why I prefer to use Leyla as my only recruitment agency is because she takes the time to get to know exactly the kind of person and skill set which is needed to fill a position.
